An aspiring architectural designer exploring adaptive reuse and the beauty of transformation through drawing and design.
Repairing Nicosia from Within

Nicosia, the capital of Cyprus, is shaped by division and abandonment, filled with voids of untapped potential. Therefore, the void becomes a driver for design, forming the question: How can my building fill the voids of Nicosia?
The [Re]Construction Centre is a civic recycling hub located within the walled city of Nicosia. The project explores how discarded material from demolition sites can be collected, processed, archived and re-distributed back into the city through a circular reuse system. Through Urban Mining, the Centre aims to repair Nicosia’s fragile condition by transforming waste into civic and architectural value.
