Project Overview

The Lily Pad

The Lily Pad is a 4,000 sqm sports rehabilitation and wellbeing facility at the heart of the Sportline Harbour masterplan, a waterfront sporting destination that combines elite and community recreation. Designed as the scheme’s restorative anchor, it supports athletes and local residents through rehabilitation, hydrotherapy, wellbeing, and social spaces. Inspired by the form of a lily pad, the circular building features an exposed radial roof structure that creates a central circulation spine, guiding movement throughout the facility. Constructed from exposed concrete and extensive glazing, it balances durability with transparency while maintaining strong visual connections to the harbour and surrounding landscape.
